Storytelling is a specific narrative technique at which every interview is described from the view point of the interviewee. The vivid description of the story which is supported by photos, videos and quotations, supports the active listening and caters the internalization of knowledge at all project members. During the storytelling essential data is documented on post-its and finally structured. After completing all interviews the post-its are clustered, categorized and named again. Besides post-it’s a storytelling can also be supported by additional methods like flow models and sequence models. Above all these methods serve the structuring of the collected information from the interviews.
As the single interviews are conducted each by only a part of the project team, the storytelling supports the knowledge transfer within the team. This serves equal discussions in the team during the conception phase.
