Storytelling
Storytelling is a specific narrative technique that involves going through the results of every interview. The lively presentation of the story, e.g. by adding photos, videos and quotes, encourages an active audience and ensures that the knowledge of a user’s given experience is internalized by all project members. The most important information is recorded on post-its and structured together after each Storytelling. Once all interviews have been completed, the post-its are grouped into clusters and provided with suitable categories. In addition to post-its, other methods such as flow models and sequence models can also be used in Storytelling. These methods are primarily used to structure the information collected from the interviews.
Good to know:
As individual interviews are only conducted by a part of the project team, Storytelling brings all team members up to speed. This enables productive discussions during the conception phase. This method can be used remotely and face-to-face depending on the team’s preference.
