Application scenarios
Application scenarios describe how a user interacts with a planned system by means of a realistic example. Clearly defined users (personas/user roles) represent the key players. From their view a working process is designed. For each application scenario a series of related requirements is transferred to a real context. Application scenarios can be described verbally or visually by means of a sketched storyboard.
ADVANTAGES
Application scenarios represent a first “Verbal Prototype” and convey impressively the overall concept of the application. They facilitate the specific derivation from functions necessary to implement the scenario. Further on, interaction prototypes can be checked in order to complete and correct the mapping of processes and requirements.
